Read the story behind the art
I first scouted Boat Basin Park for the Georgia run and wasn't excited by the empty surroundings. The house, though, caught my eye. For the photograph I made another composite: the house came from one part of the park and the trees from a road nearby. The table at the left was already in the tree photograph. I like the colors and the way the trees lead toward the house. I did not make a separate source-image page this time. I was also thinking about keeping future composites for another project; two states had been plenty of experiments for now.

Read about this meal
I almost passed on Laredo Grill because it looked like a chain, and avoiding chains was one of my rules for this project. Once inside I learned it was local. We began with tortilla chips and salsa, and I ordered the Laredo Burrito. Steak, chicken, peppers, onions, bacon, rice, beans, guacamole, and sour cream all made an appearance. It was enormous. Partway through I realized I could have it smothered in a creamy sauce, so I did. The before-and-after pictures show what happened. I was too full to consider dessert. Georgia did not leave room for a fourth act.

I set out near the Bill Reynolds Tennis Center for the Georgia run and covered 5.84 miles in 1:03:30. The watch shows an average pace of 10:52 per mile and just 24 feet of climbing. I had scouted Boat Basin Park for a photo and later used the house and trees from different parts of the area to make Baintrees. This was the second state in a row where I experimented with a composite. At least the running route itself was straightforward; my photo editing had enough moving parts.
