I’m Emmie. For much of my life, I hid who I was. Through sobriety, coming out as a transgender woman, and learning to love myself, I’ve found a life I finally want to live openly—and, with Aidan, a love I’d never known before.
This collection brings that story together with the things that make me feel alive. My photography turns the people, places, and small moments I notice into art. ART | FOOD | RUN follows an earlier journey through America’s small towns, one photograph, one jog, and one local meal at a time. Naturally, lunch was essential to the research.
